PRECISION COMPRESSION SPRINGS

The compression spring is the most common type of spring and can be found in many different products and machines such as; mattresses, pogo sticks, watches, and mobile phones. The compression spring is at rest when it appears to be in an extended position and is designed to resist a compressive force.

There are many different types of compression spring. Here are some examples of this type of spring:

  • Conical

  • Hourglass

  • Barrel-shaped

  • Torsional

  • Magazine

You may not be aware, but we use compression springs springs every day, even in some places you may not have known. Here are some of the most common components which use this type of spring:

TORSION SPRINGS

Torsion springs are coiled springs that work via a twisting, rotational motion known as ‘torsion’. They are used when there’s a need for angular movement of components.

The most common design for a torsion spring is the helical looped design. This design consists of a coiled metal wire which is twisted tighter and tighter by the sideways forces applied to either a left-hand or right-hand helix.

The rotational motion of torsion springs allows for a flexible object to store mechanical energy when twisted. This exerts a force – known as torque – in the opposite direction, proportional to the amount it is twisted. As components rotate around the centre of the spring, it will attempt to push them back to their original position.

A perfect example of a helical torsion spring in action is that of a mousetrap. When the trap is set, the bar is pulled back which loads the spring. When the mousetrap is triggered by a mouse, the loaded spring forces the bar to snap shut. Another example is that of door hinges, which are typically made from small torsion springs that allow the door to bounce on its hinge into its original position.

TENSION SPRINGS

Tension springs, tensional springs or extension springs, are tightly wound coils designed to operate with the force known as ‘tension’. They usually have a loop or hook at either end for attachment purposes.

A typical application for a tension spring is for the likes of counterbalancing garage doors, in farm machinery or on a trampoline. The main function of a tension spring is to allow for an outside force to create tension, and then use this energy to pull the components back together by reverting to its original shape.


Tension springs are typically wound very tightly and are coiled closely together when at rest.

WIRE FORM

Wire forms are finished shaped wire that has been manufactured from wire spools into a specified configuration. They can take nearly any form, often featuring springs with custom ends, and can range in size from very small to very large. Essentially a wire form is a length of wire that has had an exterior force applied to it in order create a specific shape designed for a specific job.

The wire form can be bent, cut, cut with angles, wound right/left, shaped with closed coils, can have additional pieces added to it, and just about anything that a customer can think of.

Because of the versatility of wire forms, it is not an exaggeration to say that they can be found, in one form or another, in almost every industry,

While our initial products were started for LED Lights Industries, we have successfully created a niche in consumer durables, electronics & electricals and now exploring automobile industry too. We have a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant spread over 4,500 sq. ft. area at Sector 37 Gurugram in one of the most modern Industrial areas in Northern region. 


Establishment of the unit was done by experienced technocrat having vast experience in the industry. 


Installed with state of the art facilities incorporating CNC Wire forming and Coiling machines supported with Tool room machines, Inspection & Testing equipments.
